What do you all think is the best meditation technique?
I personally believe it is "Ishai" Ascension "of The Bright Path (www.thebrightpath.com). But I'm open to mistakes
Popeye has a good point. Following the rules of another person in any something as personal as meditation, is not necessarily good or easy. I tried all. Well, not quite, everything. But enough to know that – for me – something was missing. Then one day I walked in (Buddhist) Temple in Kyoto (Japan) and sitting in a corner reading a small New Testament. One priests walked, noticed what I was doing and slowly slipping away to see what the little black book was. I noticed it was for him to see and waited. He smiled, and said a quiet, "goodo." Presidents of the Japanese to understand the "o" added to "good". I sat there lost in thought, wondering what he meant by "good? Was it in Christianity have me playing a spiritual guide in pregnant good that I was there? On and on my thoughts that I felt more and more aware that someone else in the universe specifically approved of what I did. Refreshed after I got up about an hour, came out feeling comfortable with life as I've ever had. Since the years a few moments ago, I sought an empty space, a question of what is "good", time and emptiness to meditate. Habitually under the impulse of the moment. Still with time to spare. I am happy with my own brand. It will not please advocates of "other" Zen practitioners or teachers of art. It pleased me. Write what you want to make a chance. Moving love, Spirit be with you. Bless!
