I am a high school student and I am interested in studying psychology, specifically ACT…
I am a certified yoga instructor and I have a background in Vipassana meditation. I will be finishing my last two years of high school and I was never sure of any ‘next step’ to take. I was told by a friend of my moms to check out ACT and I have been researching it extensively. I would love to hear any recommendations as far as what I can do now in high school, to prepare for this. Like courses and internship etc. and also what field I should look into in college. Should I strive for a doctoral in psychology? Any advice would be awesome!
Thanks!
Lots of career info on becoming a psychologist at apa.org You can also do searches on it for specific information. You need at least a master’s degree to practice psychology. (psychologist/college professor)
