Stress Reduction Plan

can i claim constructive dismissal?

i work in sales & when i returned from holiday my boss had put up our targets by nearly 50% overnight starting then. We had a meeting & i aired my concerns saying i have worked in sales over 8 years & never had an increase like that. I also said that we would no longer be able to achieve our target & therefore forfeit our bonus which would be a massive reduction in salary. i explained myself & my colleague would be forced to look for alternative work – he just shurgged his shoulders like a child.

So, i have written to MD who is down tomorrow to have a meeting, but yesterday boss called me in & accused me of fraud, even though this was untrue. I think he had planned to fire me as a scape goat to get the sdpotlight off him at the meeting tomorrow.

I feel like i cant be here any more, what do you guys think i should do?

please help, i could get signed off stress but then its their discretion whether they pay me

He’s accused you of fraud? is this in writing? if not you need to follow this up. has he indicated he intends to use this as a tool for disciplining/sacking you? you should get it in writing that he has said this.
you should contact HR department, or another manager or your MD directly explaining your concerns and what has happened.
keep documents as much as possible so you can use them in the future
